CUSTOMER MAGAZINES

St. George

The development and design of St George’s annual customer magazine/brochure was an opportunity to work with a client on a high end, boutique, lifestyle publication, that demanded a fastidious attention to detail and design that echoed the quality of their property portfolio.

High quality property photography and editorial ran parallel with aspirational features that engaged with the St George audience. Creating a product that was a key touch point for the brand and potential customers.

Vision - Vision Express

The high street optician’s quarterly magazine was launched to reward customers of their Grand Advantage scheme and to inspire and inform their consumer behaviour.

Here, a redesign of the existing magazine together with a commemorative publication celebrating the companies 20th anniversary.

Expanding upon the brands own corporate image, these items stylistically moved beyond the Vision Express minimalist design ethic, producing finished publications that complimented the brands other deliverables - and yet also satisfied the prerequisite of existing as stand alone products.

Go Do - First Great Western Trains

This is First Great Western Train's customer title distributed throughout it’s rail network. The creative I produced, helped win the pitch for Seven Squared. It was successfully re-pitched in 2009 with some of the creative you see here.

V Magazine - Vauxhall Cars

A pitch to produce Vauxhall’s “V Magazine”, which came around after the closure of the Brooklands Group.

This was a great opportunity to have a crack at a car magazine with all the associated high quality production and design standards of a big motoring manufacturer. The response used understated yet dynamic page layout, typography and great photography in a landscape format.

ORYX - Qatar Airways

Working with Richard Wise, formerly Creative Director at Forward and Wardour, We developed this pitch winning creative that gained Agency Fish the contract to design and publish this inflight magazine for Qatar Airways.

With a brief to produce a slick lifestyle magazine that would appeal to Qatar Airways jetsetting customer base, our response succesfully drew upon the broad experience in the newsstand, lifestyle magazine marketplace we shared - imagining both the design and the editorial content of the publication.

Evans Bikes

This was a successful pitch to produce a product led quarterly lifestyle magazine which would hook readers attention and drive customers to the Evans website. I think somebody said “Magalogue”

I landscaped the format to enhance the visual impact of the photography and also to give the product added individuality. Typography and photography were pitched to be both authoritative and accessible, conveying Evans standing as the leading cycle suppliers in the UK and also display a portion of the vast range of products they retail.
