Rocky Mountain Institute – Energy Transition

RMI is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organisation of experts across disciplines working to accelerate the clean energy transition and improve lives. Its Mission: Transforming the global energy system through a rapid, market-based change in the world’s most critical geographies to align with a 1.5°C future and address the climate crisis.

Here GPD was tasked with developing a new publication which informed RMI’s mission to businesses, policymakers, communities, and other organisations.

This broad target audience required the publication to walk the fine line of being accessible, informative, and technically authoritative whilst still holding visual appeal and retaining integrity.

The RAC – RAC World

After producing the creative for the successful pitch for Seven Squared – ‘RAC World’ evolved and developed into an important point of contact and effective sales tool between the RAC and their subscribing members.

Working in sync with and very much within the RAC’s strong brand identity – the magazine was very successful in expanding customers brand awareness, informing and driving increased sales of the clients broad range of products on offer.

Carbon War Room – Creating Climate Wealth

Carbon War Room (CWR), is a non-profit organisation founded by Sir Richard Branson, which aims to harness the power of entrepreneurs to unlock solutions to climate change.

The Bi Annual publication here, is used as a platform to communicate and engage CWR’s target audience in conversation on technologies, ideas, capital, and market opportunities – as well as attract high net worth supporters and investors to help with CWR’s mission.

The content is distributed across both print and digital platforms with an ipad app recently being added to the mix.

Price Bailey – Inside the Minds of Business Leaders

The award-winning, top 30 accountancy and business advisory firm – Price Bailey – commissioned Grist Publishing to create their annual thought leadership report.

Two hundred businesses owned and managed across London, Hertfordshire, Cambridge and Norwich fed into research partner, Ipsos MORI, to develop a research report covering aspects such as growth outlooks, how Brexit is affecting exports, growth strategies and recruitment concerns.

GPD was brought in to design the report, creating a design theme that fed through the entire publication and presented the statistical information from Ipsos MORI in a clear, dynamic and engaging manner.

The result – a publication that challenged the audience’s brand perception of Price Bailey with confident use of bold graphics, colour and imagery.

Holman Fenwick Willan – International Commerce

Here GPD was tasked with developing a magazine creative to illustrate the potential for a new B2B magazine for leading international law firm Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW).

The response utilised bold, quirky photography and a conservative, understated page template – all framed within the brand’s eco-system – resulting in a publication that resonated with HFW’s target market.

A successful pitch for Grist, who won the contract to publish!
